THE WEEK AHEAD 23 - 29 JANUARY

It might well have been only three months since the 31st Stoke Beer Festival but the planning for this year's event gets underway on Thursday at the Freebird (Liverpool Road, ST5 2AX) in Newcastle. This is the opportunity for any CAMRA member who wants to get involved in an official position to come and put your name forward.

 

Elsewhere there is the 6th Annual Winter Beer Festival at Betley Cricket Club (Church Lane, Betley, Crewe, CW1 9AX) from Thursday until Sunday. Drinking begins at 6pm on Thursday and Friday and Noon on Saturday and Sunday with a great range of Beers and Ciders priced at £2 a pint with food available every day.
